Last year our Landlord Services division engaged our clients in conversation about their real estate needs. And while we pride ourselves on delivering customized solutions because every client is unique, there was one recurring thread throughout our dialogues: growth.

And with that, to help better assist our clients as they developed their growth strategies, NAI Partners’ Landlord Services division focused on growing our client-serving capabilities, including:

  • Adding nearly 1.2 million sq. ft. of office and retail product to our property management portfolio, including our first-ever assignment in San Antonio.
  • Rebooting our Office Project Leasing offering by bringing Zach Leger, Jacob Aldridge and Rani Jones on board in Houston, who have already picked up a wide range of unique owner-rep assignments including the medical office facility at 7501 Fannin, which was written about in The Houston Chronicle; and hiring veteran sales professional David Stojanik as Senior Vice President to augment landlord capabilities in Austin.
  • Seeing our newly added Retail Services line of business establish itself as one of the most active and dynamic in Houston, underscored by the company’s Retail Services leader, Jason Gaines, ranking among the firm’s Top 10 producers for 2017 across all product types—the first time in company history a retail broker made that list. All told, NAI Partners’ Retail Services team completed in aggregate of more than 600,000 sq. ft. of retail leasing transactions valued at approximately $30 million in just over a year, and has over 60 exclusive property listings in excess of 1.6 million sq. ft. The group also added two new professionals in Houston, and is expanding its activities to Austin and San Antonio.
  • Augmenting our Investment Sales business—which works with institutions, REITs and private investors across Houston, San Antonio and Austin seeking to maximize their real estate positions, and provides strategies for properties ranging from single-tenant net leases to retail shopping centers to hotels, and more—by adding Retail Investment Sales as a service offering. That strategy already began paying off, as our Investment Sales business line leader Joshua Lass-Sughrue joined retail leader Gaines in ranking among the firm’s Top 10 producers in 2017.
