As the snow falls in south Texas for the first time in years, so have vacancy rates
The last time it snowed (including trace amounts) in all three cities NAI Partners works and lives in – Houston, Austin and San Antonio – was back in February 2010.
- Houston industrial was at 6.9%; it is now at 5.4% as of the end of the third quarter of this year.
- Austin office vacancy has shrunk from 9.0% in Q1 2010 to 12.5% in Q3 2017.
- And San Antonio office vacancy has also dropped, from 11.5% seven years ago, to 10.2%.
