Harry Holmes is a Partner in Partners’ Office Tenant Rep Group in Houston, specializing in tenant representation for the acquisition and disposition of office space. He also has vast experience in landlord representation.

Harry was previously a Principal with Avison Young, where he has been a top producer for that firm in Texas and nationwide. He has nearly 40 years of award-winning experience—having repeatedly been named to the Houston Business Journal’s Heavy Hitters list for office tenant representation—representing tenants, landlords and sublessors, and some of his notable clients have included Occidental Petroleum, Citicorp Bank, Gulf Chemical & Resources, Texas Eastern, and Tractebel, Inc. His major tenant representation transactions include Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., Texas Children’s Hospital, Walter P. Moore, and Raymond James Financial.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Harry was a co-managing principal for a national real estate company where he oversaw real estate services in Houston, San Antonio and Austin. He was president of Houston Office Leasing Management Estate Services (HOLMES), a privately held commercial real estate brokerage and management firm that he established in 1992. He began his career with Coldwell Banker in 1980, and was consistently a top producer for that firm before leaving to establish a tenant representation division for Rubloff, Inc. for the western region of the U.S.

Harry is an active member of his community and has served as a board or committee member for River Oaks Country Club, YMCA, Bo’s Place, Spring Branch Mentoring Program, Yellowstone Academy, Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory School, Texas Christian University Chancellor’s Council, Loving Houston and C Club.
