Jim Newell, MAI, is the Director of Institutional Valuation in Partners’ Houston office. He focuses on providing valuation services to institutional fund clients across the country.

His background includes Lowery Property Advisors in Houston, where he led that company’s institutional valuation efforts. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade at Qval Property Advisors, where he was responsible for workflow of staff appraisers and trainees, as well as analysis of complex property scenarios. His clients consisted primarily of institutional investment managers and funds; and he performed valuations typically utilized for reporting and asset management purposes. Jim’s regional specialties included the Pacific Northwest, California, and Georgia.
